Birding Basics
Tyler Christensen

The Class is Full!
We are taking names for the waiting list (which is growing daily!). Thank you!!

During this new program offering, you can attend a series of three birding classes that will introduce you to the basics of birding. An indoor slideshow presentation will be followed by outdoor birding workshops at two of the top birding locations in our region. These programs will focus on developing the techniques to start recognizing common species and their habits and behaviors. The indoor presentation and first outdoor workshop will be held at Baldpate Mountain in Titusville, a part of the largest contiguously-forested region of Hopewell Valley. The second workshop will be held at the Pole Farm in Lawrenceville, home to one of the largest grasslands in central New Jersey. This program series is an opportunity to visit nearby birding hotspots, get advice from experienced local birders, and improve your birding skills.
