Birdathon 2013 Heroes Honored

At the September program meeting, prizes were announced for Birdathon 2013. Perpetual and mighty Birdathon angel Landis Eaton again received top prize for the highest dollar amount solicited and will receive a copy of The World's Rarest Birds, by Erik Hirschfeld, Andy Swash & Robert Still. Hannah Suthers, solicited the highest number of donors in both 2012 and 2013, and was awarded a copy of The Unfeathered Bird, by Katrina van Grouw. For the second year in a row, Charles Brine observed the highest number of species and will receive a copy of The Crossley ID Guide; Raptors. The prize books were all generously donated by Princeton University Press.

The grand total stands at $5,384.60!
