Birding Software Donated to State Park Program
Rick gives NAS Software to Wayne On a visit to the Washington Crossing State Park Interpretive Center, Rick Dutko learned from Wayne Henderek, the Park Naturalist, that Wayne was trying to make do with some less-than-wonderful software on the two computers that the park makes available to visitors. Among other things, the computers/software are used to teach visitors about the birds that inhabit the park, including their identification both visually and via bird song. Seeing a need that matched our mission, Washington Crossing Audubon Society purchased a copy of the National Audubon Society Interactive Guide to North American Birds CD-ROM and on September 4th Rick and WCAS Conservation Chair Pat Sziber donated it to the Park.
